A congress dedicated to Plastics Recycling, why in Mexico, why now?
Recycling is a fundamental piece in the circular economy. On a global scale, the sustainability commitments of the private sector, as well as the new legislation, aim to increase the use of post-consumer recycled material, as part of initiatives to achieve the circularity of plastics. Thus, the entire value chain is preparing for this great paradigm shift that brings systemic, design, processing and, above all, collaborative challenges.
Mexico and all of Latin America are part of this world revolution, and require a catalyst that enhance sustainability in plastic packaging, through recycling with first-rate technical knowledge, new technologies, and networking opportunities. In this context, the Plastics Recycling LATAM® conference and exhibition, presented by Plastics Technology Mexico magazine (a Gardner Business Media publication), and the leading environmental civil association Ecología y Compromiso Empresarial (ECOCE, A.C.) has positioned itself as the benchmark event for the plastics recycling industry in Mexico.
